Solana Tan Salon & Boutique

Solana Tan is a great Tanning Salon and Boutique. They hired me to redesign and modernize their site, improve their Search Engine Rankings (SEO) and help them with the look of their Constant Contact emails. One of their biggest challenges is competing against the much larger tanning chains in San Diego. So far we've gotten their site on the front page of Google, Yahoo and other search engines when searching for "VersaSpa San Diego" and other key search terms. The VersaSpa is their premium sunless spray tanning system.

I had originally wanted to incorporate a lake applet (I know, so 1990's - but it looked good with this graphic!) to make the water "move," but decided to scrap it since the load times on older machines were just a little too long, and it did not adjust when someone zoomed larger than 100% in their browser window....  Plus, it kinda used up a lot of RAM on some machines....  here's what it would have looked like if I had kept it.  http://www.dpaulo.com/solana/index1.html

Professional Golfer - Bryan Newman

Bryan Newman is a Professional Golfer based in the Palm Springs area. The primary purpose for creating a website for him was to attract sponsors to help him fund his entry into tournaments across the country. We used an attractive script that allows images to be incorporated into his dropdown menu. A twitter badge lets Bryan update his fans from his cell phone, immediately after he finishes a tournament.
